Graduated in Architecture from Escola Superior Artística do Porto, he completed his 4th year at the Technical University of Brandenburg, Cottbus, Germany.

Post-graduated in Territorial and Urban Planning Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.

In the first ten years of his profession, he settled in Valladolid, Spain, where he developed activities in the areas of architecture, historical cultural heritage and urbanism.

He is currently a liberal professional with his own studio based in Ovar, where he develops activities in the same areas.
